On April 29th 1998, the Ministry of the Interior registered the Civic Association Boruvka, which in its statutes had the following objectives:

To help young people with disabilities to integrate into society, along with creating jobs for them.

All our projects reflect these objectives and all our activities are aimed at their implementation.

We first started with the Boruvka store, which later expanded into transportation for handicapped people along with personal assistance. Our latest projects were opening of a center for physical therapy and “Ta kavarna“ Cafe.

We compliment our main projects with occasional smaller events, such as market for protected workshops which takes place annually in May. This event offers the opportunity for the workshops to present their products in a beautiful environment of Vysehrad. December brings us the chance to hold “Christmas market”, which helps to create the atmosphere of the holiday season. It is primarily intended for our children, staff, parents and friends of the JUS.

All our efforts are geared towards any help that is needed for an easier and happier life of young handicapped and their loved ones. Our existence would not be possible without the help of our sponsors and partners. The Jedlicka Foundation, Jedlicka Institute, and the Jedlicka Elementary and High School have been the greatest supporters of all of our projects.

You can help too.

Thank you.
