Currently the transport with our special minivans is an inseparable part of the integrated life for the people with disabilities. Despite the efforts to make the public transportation wheelchair accessible, there are still a lot of places that are out of reach for the handicapped.
Ten years ago, we wanted to make life easier for at least a few handicapped children of the Jedlicka Institute by providing a transportation to school for them.
Our service gained a great popularity and the S-MOBIL LTD bought another minivan and our dedicated drivers can currently transport more than twenty children and extracurricular activities.
The S-MOBIL TLD , which purchased these two minibuses, takes care of their operation and repair from the very beginning. This project is also supported by the Jedlicka Foundation, the City of Prague, and the Jedlicka Institute.
The groups wich we help:
former pupils from Jedlička institute
graduates of Jedlička institute – attendance of ordinary middle schools and universities, supported employment
clients of special pedagogical centre of Jedlička institute who go to middle schools and universities
all handicaped children
nonprofit organisations and other organisations in need
Transportation is even given for out-of-school activities- cultural and sport actions.
